    I presume that of those deceased shareholders, some will have specifically mentioned the shares in their wills, so that they will go to the specified person.

    If the shares are not mentioned in the deceased's will or if there is no will then the law to do with who is the closest relative will apply.

    If the deceased's share certificate has been lost then the person legally entitled to own the shares can write to the 1921 Company Secretary supplying proof of the legal right to own the shares. Then the lost share certificate will be cancelled by its number (known on the 1921 share register) and a new share certificate will be issued to the legal rightful new owner.
