Fair play Mate, everyone has their own view on what they think Is the best way forward. Regardless of who gets the job they have to be given a chance.

Few managers or players for that matter move house when they sign for a new club.
There is nothing to stop them renting a flat and driving home after a Saturday game for a short break before returning for training on a Monday morning.
I do not think that either McCann or McPake moved house to live in Dundee when they were appointed manager.

I am surprised that there has been no more information on the club website about appointing the next manager of Dundee Football Club.

I thought that McPake remained living in the Glasgow area.

It doesn't surprise me at all, given that there is no more information to put on the club website.

The club could state that they have whittled the list of candidates down to two and they are currently interviewing them.
That might stop a misinformation being released such as a supposed photograph of Sean Maloney being interviewed across the road from the Main entrance to Dens Park.

Was anyone convinced by that? A guy with a ball under his arm on the street outside? Not really the traditional way to show off your new boss now is it?

Now I have probably been updating twitter, the club website and the BBC sport website as much as anyone else, but if there is no news, there is no news.

Other professional football clubs manage to sack their manager and appoint the new manager within a short period of time.
Dunfermline sacked John Hughes and promptly appointed James McPake as their new manager. Meanwhile two weeks after it was announced that Mark McGhee would be leaving as manager we have still not appointed his replacement.
