    Maloney or Ross

Wouldn’t have been my two front runners but I’d go for Ross out of the two

A lot of names mentioned that would have been worse than either of them. Maloney is hard to judge,he didn't really get long in his last job,but then neither did mcghee and I am ecstatic he has gone.

I am hoping it's Jack and not Maurice Ross....

Just seen this article, if it’s a straight choice between the two listed candidates it’s Jack Ross for me, no doubt.

Jack Ross for me. Maloney has not been a manager of a football club for long enough. He should have remained as assistant manager of the Belgian national football team.

Ross by mile. Maloney is another McCann. Catalan Pep. Cammy would have a nervous breakdown having to take the ball in his own penalty box at goal kicks. No thank you.

Will be disappointed if we do end up losing out on Jack Ross due to a failure to agree terms, think he would have been a popular appointment and a step in the right direction. We need some good news badly, people are scunnered and looking for someone or something to believe in and get behind, it’s become very monotonous in fact tedium might if they are not careful take the place of apathy. On the face of it the lads from Open Letter Group appear to be the only ones bringing people together. Time long overdue for others including the club to engage with them, find common ground and move people together in a more positive direction.

I heard Ross not prepared to move house from Newcastle, if true then I says to me we are just a stepping stone until something better comes along, probably in England

Far play to the club if that turns out to be the case but I’d have thought that would have been apparent before candidates were whittled down to two as has been widely reported.
My concern would be any potential situation whereby we are paying the MD and DOF so much that we couldn’t afford to appoint someone with his credentials and popularity within our core support. Water under the bridge perhaps ?

I’m happy with Maloney, never bought in to the Ross band wagon, think Maloney has something to prove after Hibs fiasco
