I think the club is now past the stage where a football man sorts out the retained list and contracts. This task has been handed over to the accountants, they'll tell us who we can afford to keep and who we can't, and who we need to sell.

Just for balance the press are reporting Vincent’s first signing is a right back from Blackpool , which suggests Robert’s could be on his way aswell , worryingly Vincent not announced as manager yet either.

The way Roberts has been playing for Wales recently there is no way he will drop into the Championship.

Another £10 million going Pace's way.

That's good, only another £50 million to raise now and we're up and running.

I can remember amongst Pace's "Mission Statement," we would look for players to buy on the cheap and sell for BIG. Roberts and Collins certainly fall into that category.

Roberts out. Gabriel in. Nett result £8 million in the kitty.

Nobody will be offering us decent money for our star players because they know we are skint. They will be circling like vultures waiting for the right moment.Cant see any realistic offers coming in for our crown jewels of Pope or Mcneil.Brownhill can go for me-he is/was completely out of his depth in the PL.I did not see anything from Roberts that warranted a £10m fee.Collins more likely. There is no way Pace will recoup the £65 from player sales.Vydra and Cork still up in the air.Cork is past it anyway. Then who is left-Barnes,Jayrod,Taylor and JBG-two forwards who cannot score,Taylor and a perennial sick note and now we are looking at replacing the outgoing players with League 1 material? Hardly a recipe for an immediate return to the PL.
