    Betting on IB suspended

Does this suggest he is off or turned down the offer.
On the Magpie Circle last night, Leigh Curtis said that a few of the FGR players think IB was nailed on for the job. I hope either way this is cleared up as soon as possible, so that we can move on.
Whilst being a fan of IB in his time here, I would think less of him for moving on for financial gain, without really proving himself at a much lower level. Would this show a lack of belief/confidence in himself to get the job done here.

He doesnt strike me as not being confident to be honest I think he does believe in himself.

Good luck to him if he goes I have nothing against him.

He isnt stupid either and if he didnt go up next season he might get sacked or face toxic atmosphere if we were mid table.

I say all the above without knowing if he will leave !

I personally think they want to talk to IB. I don't think IB will go, why would he? He has a patient board, and has resources given to him. He'd also never play a match with a crowd like Monday at FGR, he'd be better off staying at Notts and getting us to league 1

Why would he? Two divisions above and probably a better wage.

As a Forest fan once said, it's not rocket surgery.

If he's offered the job, he'd be a fool not to take it. Wages x 2 or even 3 and better players to work with. If he stays, the squad and tactics need some serious ''tweaking''.

Exactly this. When you’re working in a cutthroat profession, you have to cash in when your stock is high. Warnock turned Chelsea down and we fired him 18 months later, even if it may have been the right decision.

He’s a goner….the next bet is by when? I’m saying by Monday he’ll be FGR boss. The sooner it’s done (or not) the better really so everyone can move on. Although I don’t think the clubs approach has been too successful so far, it does at least give us a model to work from and a clearer idea on what our next manager will be like. It also means we won’t need a total overhaul of players…though I’m not overly fussed with most of the current clones.

The bet after the one about when IB will be gone by will be whether we have ever heard of our next head coach…I’m saying yes!

One of the more impressive (young) coaches in the National League this season has been Luke Garrard at Boreham Wood. Yes, they faded badly late in the season but I think they were a victim of their own success on too many fronts with such a small squad. They literally ran out of steam compared with some of the better-resourced clubs, but for the first two-thirds of the season they looked capable of competing with the best.

I don't think they would suspend betting if they thought he had turned down the job.
