    O/T R.I.P Andy Fletcher

Keyboardist and founding member of Depeche Mode.
    So very shocked, only 60.

Not a band who's everybody's cup of a tea, particularly in their home country, but a massive part of my life since I was 18.

Andy was an underrated member of imo a underrated band.

The glue that held them together through trials and tribulations at their height in the late '80s early '90s.
Not without his own, demons at the time but without him I wouldn't have heard some very special music and had some very special times.
    Thank you Andy

My thoughts are with your family and friends.
And the family that is my fellow DM fans.

Alan White, drummer from Yes, has also died.

Lived in Cam's neck of the woods, Newcastle, Washington.

Indeed it is. A very nice place despite the name. We nearly bought a house there when we moved here.

They weren't my cup of tea Magyar, but that is a real early age to go, so condolences to his family and friends. UTM

Depeche Mode, brilliant band, seminal synth pop pioneers, who grew and developed into a stadium filling rock band.
Their last 2 albums are as good as anything they did in the 80's.
    Shocking news RIP sir.

I concur with this, Depeche Mode are a superb group with decades of work behind them. Violator goes down for me as one of the greatest albums ever made.
A sad loss to the music world.
