I'm ambivalent on this one mon ami. 70% of the time I'm OKAY with the Guardian but on this one they are f*cking miles off!

I listened to everything that was said when Covid kicked off mon ami, and for three months we were told by the great and good, Whitty, Vallance, Harries, Van Tam, that masks were useless. Then around early June I noticed more and more demands in the media for masks to be worn. I was puzzled as to who or what was driving this, all the scientific and medical evidence said they were pointless, so I investigated the origins of these demands for mask wearing. They were mainly, almost exclusively, emanating from Social Media, the Guardian and the BBC websites. To this day I have no idea why the Left was so obsessed with masking up, and still the Guardian can't let go.

You have to give your head a wobble reading stuff like that mon ami, but sadly, it's just another day in the lunatic asylum.

"What killed over 24 people at the BSL-Clifton Hill facility in Melbourne, Australia in <12 months?
Over 24 people died in less than a year after the vaccines rolled out at this 114 room elderly care facility. Only 1 person died from COVID. What did the others die from? Nobody would return my calls."

The Grauniad still flogging the dead horse that people eating in restaurants, which had socially distanced tables, plastic sheeting dividing partitions and customers having to wear a mask every time they stood up, spread the virus. Utter bollox, but the Grauniad still can't let go.

I read somewhere that the spike in Covid cases was almost 30% following the Eat Out Help Out malarkey.

We should have done what Sweden did and let it do its worse and we went out several times during that time sinkov and never once did I see plastic sheeting nor dividing partitions and this particular customer not once wore a mask every time he stood up, I had an "Exemption Badge".

The whole point of this nonsense from Hancock's Half Hour WhatsApp is to highlight and illustrate what a load of old bollox the government's response to the "pandemic" was.

They all ought to hang their heads in shame and before you start, don't get me started on Starmer's compliance.

We ate out every chance we got, 2/3 times a week, every place we went you had to enter masked up, often they took your temperature before allowing us in, we sat at isolated tables with plastic partitions, you weren't allowed to go anywhere except to the bog and then you had to mask up. Servers all wore masks, there were hand sanitisors everywhere and you were encouraged to use them. The Black Bull at Langho actually spent £3k on a state of the art temperature checking machine, before they got to use it the restrictions were back on and they had to close again. In all that time I don't think we ever got within 10 feet of another customer. Occasionally I moaned about it and was told most customers approved of the measures they were taking, and they'd be closed down if they didn't adhere to the guidelines and I have no doubt they would. You and me were in a tiny minority back then mon ami.

Forest v Everton starting now, I'll get back to you later on this subject, there's much more I want to say.
