    Yas. I’ve had this on file for 22 years after I read it in The Guardian back then.

    I shared it with the hearing mannie last week after we had the discussion about ‘PC gone mad’ (we agreed that it’s just the respect and good manners we were taught as kids) and ‘health and safety gone mad (it’s just assessing a risk and deciding if it’s worth it). Both are now viewed as pejorative terms since they’ve been hi-jacked by right wing populists.
