See the DT and certain supporters are getting excited about Craig Bryson’s availability.
Makes no sense to me. At his best he was excellent for us but, if memory serves, his best was maybe seven or eight years ago and it comes as no surprise that his return to Scotland has been described as ‘injury hit’.
Much of his time at Derby could be described in much the same way so...thanks for the memories but in terms of a potential return...he’s an injury prone 35 year old so...no thanks, too much of a fitness risk and comebacks rarely live up to expectation.

Not going to be splashing the cash this season MM stylee so we have no room for passengers, in his prime yes but not after an injury hit season where I believe he didn't even play, when will he be fit when he's 37, nah no thanks
Never go back.......... unless you're still at or near your peak. Loved CB like he loved his haggis but the memories should remain as they are, not get tarnished.
DET click bait, nothing more, it will be full of this for the next few weeks unless CK fails to takeover the club or close the deal (that's for you GP just to explain things you might not understand!).
You may as well refrain from reading that excuse for a paper as there will be no facts or real news in there, just a list of free agents and ex Derby players that it will run through!
Indeed they feed of each other and print rampant speculation that is rarely if ever close to the truth. It took me a while before I realised that what was reported as "news" was very often some journo or pundits opinion, many years ago I was listening to some football programme, where an ex footballer gave an opinion on who would be the next England manager, a couple of hours later BBC news reported that so and so was in the running for the job.. He never was and it dawned on me that they had just reported an opinion with no other facts to go on!
Since then I have never trusted any source without some corroboration from elsewhere.
I avoid all of them like the plague and often post negative comments when eejits post links to them on social media.
Yes of course the press regularly print ‘rampant speculation’ that is ‘rarely close to the truth’. This is the case in everything from sport to politics...from what happened in Paris at the weekend to Brexit.
Nevertheless such articles invariably prompt some sort of ‘vox pop’ reaction from readers and it seems valid, in the interests of balance, truth and common sense, to put forward an alternative point of view.
