What do we need/ how will we look

Happy to see us secruing targets early, yet to be convinced they're any good and not a fan of signing players from tinpot leagues just because Marsch used to have them but we will see, hopefully they'll do the business. Really hope we keep Phillips and Raphinha decides to stay and hold out for Barcelona to have the money to pay what we want for him.

I know market is tough but want us to maintain some sense of being a UK team whether that is through our own academy or signing other clubs british players, wouldn't mind O'Brien, looked very handy in final.

GK- Meslier/ Klaesson (Not an essential to me, but an experienced number 2 wouldn't hurt)
    LB- ????? / Firpo
    CB- Llorente/ Koch
    CB- Cooper/ Struijk
RB- Rasmussen/Ayling/Drameh (Didn't think we needed a right back, wanted us to promote Drameh tbh)
    CM- Phillips/ Forshaw?
    CM- ????? / Greenwood?
    RAM- Aaronson/ James
    LAM- ??????? / Harrison
    ST- Bamford/ ???????
    ST- Gelhardt/ ???????

    Need to be sold:
Rodrigo- Thought he'd turned it round when Marsch first came, has reverted to type, not enough impact
Roberts- Cash in or sell, 60+ PL games, 2 goals, enough said
Koch OR Llorente- Get rid of one and use cash to invest, promote Cresswell
Firpo- Really want him to do well, but lad can't defend, Mbeumo did him like a kipper a few times and Mbeumo aint all that
Klich- Time has come, guy has been brilliant and love him but just looked out of his depth this year

    Loan out:
Drameh- Rather he played but 2 RB infront of him
Cresswell- If he isn't going to get more regular games, a year as first choice in lower league would do him good
Summerville- Lets see what hes made of, not convinced his game is good enough for top level yet
Bate- Again, if he isn't going to play
Shackleton- Want him to actually play a full season, still don't know where he is best suited

Obviously don't get rid of all of them but those for me are on the chopping block

What we need is for all the BS games. The season finishes yet players are forced to play internationals in their off time. They need time off for the body to recover as they basically don't get much time off. Something needs to be addressed in so many games cups, leagues internationals, and so on.
What we really need we don't know unless we know our outgoings. We already know we need mids and possibly a striker if Bamf can't come up. We don't need another keeper unless meslier goes as klaarson is more than suitable why waste money for someone to warm the bench.

With you on the "time to recover sentiment, but how does that play against the club's decision to play friendlies in Australia? I know fans there would love to see their idols up close, but how does that tie in with a set of preparatory games before the new season?

As for additions, hopefully Philips comes good on his promises regarding staying at LUFC, and others? Replace Firpo with Drameh, replace Raphina (assuming he goes) with A N Other, dispense with Rodrigo, Koch, Llorente, James, replace with Gelhardt, Bate, Summerville, Hjelde.

That's different because after the rest of say 4 weeks they have to get ready for the new season.

And...there is no guarantee as to what player squad will be hitting here either!

See we have a new RB incoming - shame it isn’t a LB. If Tyler Adams comes in (could make for confusion when Tyler is pencilled into the team sheet) and a striker too in the next couple of weeks then pretty good start to the window.

Just need some better tactics, a bigger ground and a more humble board.

Hope the away kit is yellow this year.

A "more humble board"? Oh!! You mean Board of Directors! I thought you meant Footymad Board, because humility isn't happening here. Ever.
