OT what music have you listened to today?

Put some albums on today for the first time in a while...

    Incredibles - Heart and soul
    Tempests - Would you believe
Various Artists - Ric Tic Relics
Various Artists - Fillet of soul vol 2
    John Kongas - Africanism
    Various Artists - Workin'

Really enjoyed them. Note to self, really must do this more often. Especially as it's far less work intensive than spinning 45s

Not everybody's cup of tea on here, I know. What musical delights have you been feeding your ears today?

    Corcorvado: Astrud Gilberto
    Alvin Lee: The Bluest Blues
    Pachelbel: Canon in D

Music? On the second day of the Test...does not compute!

Having said that...drawn to GP’s mention of the ‘Sound of Silence’ by Disturbed, but having little time for Heavy Metal and the lead singer (Mr. Drainman?) baring an uncanny resemblance to my mental image of DCFCA...it’s really rather good. Nice crescendo and decent video too.

Love On A Mountaintop - Robert Knight
HAPPY Radio, Chillwell’s finest, Edwin Starr

Well, in Shank Towers, we're watching Party at the Palace. Queen, the musicals Phantom and Lion King, Duran Duran, get some notable mentions. The rest is a bit of a snooze fest

But what was Nile Rodgers doing monkeying round with Duran Duran? He seems compulsory inclusion in all BBC music shows

Yes, that was a bit cringe! Disappointing end to the show, was expecting a big encore
