Maybe, maybe not. One thing is certain though, Mellor was and probably still is a much better player than Billy Waters was. Waters was our best player in an awful team when Davies was manager. By the time we got some decent players in Waters was no longer getting in the team. Now, he has had a relatively decent career but always at a lower level than we were playing at. Time will tell with KM but I believe he has only signed a one year deal. So maybe the management aren't sure either

Yes decent players that is definitely what we need especially in the midfield department out midfield unit is currently dreadful and will be our downfall in league 2 we must recruit heavily and a minimum of 8 more players are required at the moment we have a squad that will struggle in league 2 to little quality in key areas.

Just to qualify the above re shirt Vale are charging £44 for their shirt next season, Crewe are seriously ripping off the fans and not for the first time if I hear Charles Grant mention the word competitive one more time I will scream we are expensive on season tickets and merchandise relative to first team investment.
