Michael Duff the Cheltenham manager is in demand from a club or clubs in the championship. Not surprising really. Cheltenham are a Cambridge sized club, about 3,500 to 4,00 regulars, with half the ground dating back to the 60s.

There were many United v Cheltenham games back then.

There has been zero discussion in the press about Mark Bonner moving onto something better. That may be that no one is interested, or he is purposely refusing any offers.

Meanwhile, all others, managers and what not move onto better things.

There is a window of opportunity here, that may never be there again. United will be annihilated next year, and Bonners rating will drop.

If he has discouraged new clubs, he is truly an idi ot.

I suspect Barry has an influence here, as with the centre back that went to mk dons, "at the right time".

Im sure Bonner takes the knee to Barry. Barry is not the best judge though, as im fairly sure of using the inexperience cosh. If experience was important, Bonner would never have got the Cambridge job.

Anyway, the regret of not taking an opportunity when it presents itself will bite hard when older, what could have been.

But was not . Id like to see Bonner move on, as surely Cambridge will burn harder and faster without him. Even though he is a child in regards to politics, i wish the best for him, as he has a talent.
