    The captain departs

A little sad to see our captain leave the club especially to another championship club.
No surprise its boro though considering wilder has been a huge fan of his for years.

Yeah, it was silly to have let him walk. When you factor is getting a replacement and a fee, plus wages.
Was Lenihan actually any good? I don't think he was. He was a reason why our season folded every season around Jan time. He was as much to blame for that as Mowbray was. He is easily replaced as a body, its just a bit silly we will probably end up no better off financially. he won't improve them, us not having him around doesn't make us much weaker as we will just get in another average CB.

Your key worry is whether Brereton will be sold.

    Beg to differ.
The worry is not brereton being sold but the funds not being put into the team.
If and it's a big IF he gets sold for say 13 million then we could mold a decent championship team with that but I sense the majority of funds would be offset against losses.

nah, he has had his half a good season. He is nowt special.
We will crack on just fine without him. Nobody will come in for him anyway, as he was found out. And his stock has dropped massively. We would be lucky to get our money back on him.
