    My mole tells me the club are in Marbella and have a closed doors friendly v Port Vale lined up.

    It was a typical bounce preseason match up split into 3 x 25 minute sessions.

    Here's what Ross said about it

    Ross was pleased with United’s effort but admits they still have some way to go before being ready for competitive action.

    He said: “We still have a bit to go in our performance today. We were short of our standards in some aspects but we have worked very hard physically in the last few days and it was a bit mix and match"

    Could do without players getting bad tackles in pre season

    Said on dode fox Mochrie was on end of a nasty one v Northampton too.

    Surely they agree beforehand for there to be no silly fouls going on !!!
