    Davie Wilson RIP

Sad to hear of the passing of Davie Wilson, loved the player and I was delighted when United signed him from Rangers, RIP Davie, so sad.

Signing Davie was an integral part of Jerry Kerr's inspired work to transform United into a major club (under the business plan of an ambitious and innovative board of directors). Great player.

    RIP Davie Wilson

Saw Davie play many times for us. He wasn't at his peak Sevco days but he gave everything he had. IIRC did he come as part of the deal that took Orjan Persson to Sevco? I think.

235 formation, no messing. Inside forwards, no substitutes no VAR no he felt contact was entitled to go down. Magic sponge. Halftime scoreboard, Sports Tele, jumpers for goalposts.
