Without saying I told you so I think both you and I said last summer we were at least 2 short in midfield one of whom should be Pablo replacement and a striker.

Midfield was our Achilles heel all season with gaping holes left for others to charge though at times.

Roca was good for Espanyol and has managed to play for Bayern so should be a good addition. think Aaronssen will be good.

With so many past failures Hope can only wait and see and reserve judgment till they play.

Lewis O'Brien would have been my choice - played a more or less a full season and from what I have seen of this lad he could easily make the step up - suppose we just have to trust Ortas's judgement on a player who has hardly played for 2 yrs and has no experience of English Football.

If we get Tyler Adams think he would be a step up on OBrien and potentially a better player than KP subject to avoiding injury.

Someone like Olise from Palace would be good too.
