No CSS as such now islay, sometimes there's an adjustment if weathers bad and scores are awful.

I have not been a member of a golf club since February 2011 and I am a bit out of touch with rules.
I know that a new rule was introduced where a golfer could ‘inadvertently’ ground their club in a bunker which to me seems a cheat’s charter and people can putt on the green with the pin still in the hole.
Are you back to having a par score for a golf course and members either shooting a net score under par, level par or over par.
Do you still have a buffer zone (also known as the duffer zone) which used to be one of two shots over the CSS for the competition.

Cut to 5.9 brutal 0.8 cut.😄

It's more fluid now and a bit more exciting for a statto like me islay.

It's an average of your best 8 rounds out of your last 20.

No buffer zone, it's basically you against current hcap and course.

Of my last 20 rounds, my best are rounds 1,2,4,6,7,8, 10 and 12.

Once round 12 gets to round 21 it will drop off.

So for the next 8 rounds I have a free hit as my hcap can't go up only stay the same or go down.

When you have one of your best 8 at number 20 (IE away to drop off) that's when hcap will go up unless you replace it with a like for like round or better.

Now that I have mastered golf I'm going to learn Cantonese, reckon 3 mths.😎

Oh by the way it now also gives you your exact rank at your club at the current time, Scottish rank and gender rank.

Club rank 23.

Gender rank 11, 250

National rank 11 535

Which means there's 285 woman but not necessarily women with a cervix who are rated above me...... cud be they woman with a *****.

I'm consoling myself by thinking there women win a ***** as the thought of 285 women being better than me to a "misoginistic *******" like myself 😉 cud tip me over the edge.

Imagine if ane of they women were an immigrant as well. Cud be very destabilising. 😂
