Which means there's 285 woman but not necessarily women with a cervix who are rated above me...... cud be they woman with a *****.

I'm consoling myself by thinking there women win a ***** as the thought of 285 women being better than me to a "misoginistic *******" like myself cud tip me over the edge.

Imagine if ane of they women were an immigrant as well. Cud be very destabilising.
Gender rank? Has that been challenged yet by any bi-trans-one legged lesbians who identify as sofas?

Looks like Scottish Golf only believe there's 2 genders......idiots, there were approaching 100 at last count.

On a serious note, that bit of the app only came online on Monday......so no doubt there will be a challenge or stooshie.

Trying to remember if there was an "other" option for gender when downloading the app, don't think there was......so it looks like in golf you can only be male or female ......at the moment.

    There maybe trouble ahead....

It's more fluid now and a bit more exciting for a statto like me islay.

It's an average of your best 8 rounds out of your last 20.

No buffer zone, it's basically you against current hcap and course.

Of my last 20 rounds, my best are rounds 1,2,4,6,7,8, 10 and 12.

Once round 12 gets to round 21 it will drop off.

So for the next 8 rounds I have a free hit as my hcap can't go up only stay the same or go down.

When you have one of your best 8 at number 20 (IE away to drop off) that's when hcap will go up unless you replace it with a like for like round or better.

Now that I have mastered golf I'm going to learn Cantonese, reckon 3 mths.😎
    Thanks for your information.
    It seems a bit complicated.
I suppose it is to stop people being selective entering competitions to keep a high handicap for their club match play competitions.
One of the problems with the handicap system which was introduced in 1983 is that it has resulted in golf club members becoming ‘one course wonders’.
Prior to 1983 Category 1 golfers who had a handicap of 4 or less had to submit 40% of their scores playing on golf courses other than their home golf course.
This meant that these Category 1 golfers had to play in a lot of Open Competitions to try to keep their Category 1 handicap.
The introduction of the new handicap system in 1983 ended this requirement which has resulted in lots of golf club members having scratch, +1 and +2 handicaps as a result of only playing in stroke play competitions at their own club.
Golf club members with a +1 or +2 handicap were unknown before 1983 while golfers with a scratch handicap were few and far between.
I used play golf at Downfield with a fellow Dee who was also a member of Abertay Golf Club at Monifieth.
My friend told me that most of the women golf club members at Monifieth obtained their handicap playing on the Ashludie golf course and when they played in stroke play competitions on the Monifieth Medal golf course they could not play within ten shots of their handicap.

Some people need a calculator to add up their score.

St Rules and St Regulus Golf Clubs in St Andrews are women only golf clubs.
The previous vice chancellor of St Andrews University failed to mention that when she was trying to become a member of the men only R & A.
