But the record for shortest time in the job for a manager being sacked, goes to -

Leroy Rosenior who lasted 10 minutes as manager of Torquay United, before being sacked in May 2007.

Dave Bassett lasted 4 days as manager of Crystal Palace in 1984

But in the Scottish leagues this season, there have been loads of sackings, another gone
today, Jim Goodwin Aberdeen manager sacked, after his team lost 6-0 at Hibernian.

I know they have a lot of injuries but with the wealth of talent within the Liverpool squad, this simply isn't good enough is it?
