Always loved her as an athlete and as a very engaging character so I don’t understand the media and self promoting hype over this.

A superb athlete. Watched an interview of Kelly online earlier explaining the rationale behind the announcement.
Kelly has always struck me as one of life's good people. A stand out person with personal discipline, ability and humility in equal measure.
Watching that interview she was shaking like a nervous sh itt ing dog. So afraid to express her feelings, so very vulnerable yet open and honest.
I have nothing but admiration for Kelly. I wish her well and genuinely hope she finds the happiness which has eluded her for much of her life.
My sadness is that she never felt secure and relaxed enough to lead her life more openly. As one former soldier to another I salute her.
