    Nick Pope

Daily Telegraph today says close to a deal with Newcastle.£8 - £10m being mentioned.

Surely we wouldn't let him go for that

Pickford went for £25m back in 2017 so surely Pope is worth at least that amount. If we let him go for the amount mentioned we really are skint.

We’d be better keeping him and taking a chance at that money , 25 million for wood to sink Us didn’t matter but 10million for Pope is fine due to FFP.

    Surely Pace is stopping this.

This is from over two weeks ago,

"According to The Sun, Forest are readying a low bid for Pope in the hope that Burnley will reluctantly let him go. It is reported that Pope's camp feel they can achieve a £10m move, though that has been "laughed off" by people at his club."

Sounds like Pope's agent is encouraging low bids, but Pace isn't wearing it. I reckon £15m and we'll pay for the taxi.

Well in that case I believe in robbery with violence!! That's a Joke. Why would he go to Forest; they will be down next year in all probability. We'd be better of keeping him! That tosser Southgate will not play him in the world cup anyway

It's good news, Alan Nixon says we won't be parting with Pope for £10 million, it's not enough.

£15 million tops Alfie, if we're lucky.
