No doubt that, with all the changes taking place at the Turf, he thinks that he has more chance of winning promotion with a manager who has a track record for getting teams promoted from the Championship. No real surprise with that.

We haven't got any money for purchases.

Indeed we do, we have as much money as we want to borrow, don't worry about interest rates and repayment due dates, that's in the future, the future will take care of itself.

We still have Roberts, Lowton, Collins, Taylor, McNeil and Cornet to sell mon ami. We might not be able to field a decent team come August, but we won't be going into administration!

The point that gives me hope is that VK is no fool. There must be a plan in place, some idea of what the team will look like going forwards. Otherwise, why would he sign up to a poisoned chalice?

In the interviews with him he talked about youth, loans and bringing in players to blend with the experience of the likes of Cork. They will not be mega-millions superstars.

In the interview with Barnes he repeated similar comments. I suspect therefore that this is what we are looking at.

For me, let’s avoid administration, watch some bright, attacking performances and look at promotion as a bonus.

Just out of interest mon ami, we've apparently just sold Nick Pope for less than his Transfermarket valuation, which is £13.5 million. The total TM valuation of the above half dozen is £45 million, but with these clowns running the club, no guarantee we'd get even that. The Crown Jewels gone and still up to our eyeballs in debt.

    Happy days.

Sort out Cornet & Weghorst ,preferably by selling and then go from there
