That will be a NO then.
Personally - I like him - I think he has a lot to offer - and fingers crossed he can bring a couple of South Americans in.
If he is going to do it - now is the time to do it - with the restructuring of the squad.

Just what we need….. a couple of South Americans, with experience of a blood and guts league. ….to go missing when it’s chucking down and -3 on a Tuesday in Accrington.

Can’t think of anything he’s done that has resulted in a positive impact on the club or supporters.

He had his prints on the west stand debacle and should have got a p45 for that.

Can anyone offer owt positive about him?

Now is El-Ahmad's time to shine as CEO with shrewd negotiating in the club's biggest player turnover since the great "Best Transfer Window in the Club's History" under The Arseoyle.

I would point to the following--

    1. Arriving from the City Group and their flagship club Manchester City he binned an arranged pre season friendly at Watford at short notice ( a game Watford had already sold tickets for) in order to play Man City, who had found themselves with a free Saturday on that date. He put the phone down on Watford who quite rightly demanding an explanation.
A shameful period hitting our reputation as a club you could trust and do business with.

2 The West Stand Debacle. Removing fans who had sat in their same seats for decades as ST holders relocating them to seats elsewhwere in areas they hadn't originally wanted to be. The reasons Ahmad gave for this move kept changing particularly after he was called out by Barnsley Council (50% owners of the stadium) after he claimed the stand was unsafe. VIP,s and the media were still allowed in but not fans. Eventually the reason emerged that stewards were to be moved to the South Stand so that more tickets could be sold to away fans in up-coming fixtures.

3 Evasion and non answers at the increasingly infrequent Q&A sessions leading to even Loko and the BBS Club is Always Right usual culprits to get frustrated.

4 Ahmad's statement that the Ismael Play Off Season wasn't a success because none of the players involved had attracted bids/sales.

As I said now is his time to shine after a not very good start.
