Friends who are Hull fans say he's a good signing and they didn't get the best out of him last season.

Part of the squad that helped them to promotion from League 1 and helped keep them in the Championship.

The odd bits I’ve read on Hull fan sites ( not much granted) is that Eaves was on the whole pretty well thought of they don’t seem to be slating him but seem to think he can be replaced with someone better which is what we’re trying to do with Smith I suppose

It is a good solid signing, championship experience gives balance if we bring in some younger players as well. I still think bringing in Smallwood would be a good decision as well, experience sat deep to protect the back four.
