Felt sorry for Amy Garcia tonight on Look North, announcing his death.

Poor lass was in bits, like losing a close relative for her and still expected to do ‘ the professional thing” and give the bad news

Very sad. I saw that on Look North and the poor lass could hardly get her words out amid the tears. It's most likely why it was announced right at the end of the show. It certainly shocked me when she announced it. It was only last year (I think) that he did that 3 legged trek with Paul Hudson and I thought he was in good health. A lovely man and I liked him.

Mainly Bradford, then Leeds.
BBC Look North is mainly West Yorks (well Leeds and Bradford) with a bit of York and Harrogate, oh an Halifax Piece Hall.
Occasionally they talk about the rest of Yorkshire and hardly ever North Linc/Derbyshire/Notts.
