RIP Harry a great Yorkshire Broadcaster.
I remember his smile on the steps of Wembley when leaving after the Oxford Utd game.

What a smashing bloke , I got to meet him in an unfortunate way !, January 2010 he was doing an early morning report for Look North "Heavy Snow in Barnsley " outside BDGH , the very same morning I was having my "Dancing on Ice Rehearsals !!" Which I failed !!! Broken Tib & Fib in my right leg, Harry saw me being hurried in and came over to ask if it was OK to film me and the others admitted to A&E , a few weeks later I received a DVD of the Look North Programme , A Topman in many ways , he will be sorely missed I'm sure , always seemed to have an affection to Barnsley , God Bless you Mr Harry Gration MBE , REST IN PIECE,

Harry Gration has graced our fine County and TV screens for many a year.

How sad to hear of his sudden death at only 71.

RIP Harry, a star gentleman in many ways.

Met him at Wembley and a few other times. Had my photo took with him and it’s the worst photo of me I ever had taken …Wife took it while we were talking yet he was talking and still smiling, and I look like I am chewing a wasp! Always preferred Look North with him on.

Hey up Roma i hope you & yours are ok mi owd pal. HARRY was by far the best presenter Look North ever had.He had such a warm personality and was always professional on the TV.He seemed to be able to show affinity to all the clubs in Yorkshire and was seen at plenty of BLADES presentations, usually being the man wi the mic.I was shocked to hear of his passing. RIP HARRY. UTB
