    Donny used him as a target man, hence why he wasnt up to much for them. Hes a winger type.

    Nomadic career for a 26-year-old. Very poor goal return for a forward regardless of whether he plays striker or winger. Given a two-year contract by Doncaster but apparently forced out after a year following relegation. No thanks. Dead wood written all over him.

    Stick with hungry, ambitious signings from the National League environs whose careers are an upwards trajectory.

    To be fair, we have had a couple of the more nomadic types settle down and do really well here the last couple of years as well in Wootton and Palmer. Biggest issue with Dodoo is the position - we don’t really have room for any more forwards.

    We only have 2 forwards of note and that's the 2 untried lads from Gateshead. We need another decent option to come off the bench as a plan B.
