Wade Elliott will be confirmed as Cheltenham Town's new head coach on Monday.

The 43-year-old steps up from his role as first team coach at the League One club, having worked as part of Michael Duff's backroom team for the past two seasons.

Like Duff, Elliott worked his way from non-league to the Premier League as a player, representing Bashley, Bournemouth, Burnley, Birmingham City and Bristol City after starting out in Southampton's youth set-up.

Well good luck to Wade at Cheltenham and I sincerely hope he builds on the work done by Duff just as long as they don't finish above us mind .

You hope these things work out because I wouldn't want to Cheltenham fall like we did last season because we've taken their manager of em .
