    It would be so pleasing to see The Kremlin blown to smithereens, preferably with the lump of $hit inside.

    Also, all the sports governing bodies need to show some resolve and ban all Russians from all international sports. Although not interested in tennis, I gather that World ranking points will not be awarded at Wimbledon because the have excluded Russians. Whoever thought that was appropriate ought to be sent to the Donbas and experience that for a while. There’s still to many ‘I’m alright Jack’ attitudes about but unless Putin is stopped there won’t be any ‘I’m alright Jacks’ left.

    Had a very similar experience to DaveP as a kid myself and agree that bullies only stop if you stand up to them. Diplomacy and negotiation have there place but appeasement never works with a bully. Strikes at Russia itself are long overdue, but although these may be by NATO weapons systems I think it remains important still that they are used by the Ukrainians. Any direct confrontation needs to be instigated by Putin.
