    Shorttermers

I understand that our so called stas want to play in the premier league, but those who have joined us very recently must have aware that relegation was a possibility so to then jump ship like they seem to be doing seems petulant and no regard to the contract that they signed. It seems a little odd we are not making those that joined very recently to see out at least part of their contract. It tells me thatt they have no loyalty to our club whatsoever. One question that I would be interesting to know is who is Ben Mee signing for as I have not seen anything about his likely destination, I would think at 32 premier league might be just past him now - anyone know anything? At least he has been a great servant to our club along with others who have left, but not these short termers.

I've seen him linked with Brentford, but that was several days ago. I assume he's out of contract at the end of the month so I expect we'll know soon enough.

He won't be turning out for us, so anything else Mee does is of not much interest to me lancaster100.

Ten years loyal service, including almost being decapitated, and that's the thanks you get. Burnley fans eh, no wonder Wout Weghorst doesn't want to play for us.

Honestly sinkov, I thought Mee would stay for the duration, but as you say, "Follow the money!"

Ten years he played for us BT, how many years is a 'duration' ? How many other players are there at the top level who have stayed loyal to the same club for ten years ? I don't know the answer, but I would guarantee 'not many' covers it.

There are always exceptions to the rule sinkov, I genuinely believed Mee was the one.

He was the one BT, he still is the one, ten years and a semi-decapitation prove that. FFS mon ami, rapists and murderers serve less than that, the man is a Burnley legend, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.
