Agree, club shirts are for youngsters, not the middle aged or older. If you want to show your allegiance, wear a scarf.

I wore a scarf in the 70s with "we are magic' on it and some arse nicked it from around my neck as I was leaving the ground surrounded by hundreds of Albion fans. Can you believe your own comrades would nick ya scarf. I loved that scarf. If someone on here as got one with the same inscription then it's mine.

Not going to get many sales with those fat

Do they represent typical Albion supporters? Hard to determine the gender for the second one on the left

OK and better than some of the crap they have worn in recent years. However, I prefer a narrower stripe. Call me old fashioned if you like and I know you will.

Well, I'm old fashioned as well as I prefer a thinner stripe. Having said that, as you say and I've said in a previous post, it's a pretty good design and one that can be identified with the club.

There is a site....I think called "Toffs"
They do original replica shirts. I got the original green/yellow away strip.

They weight of it is a different class from the polyester stuff today. This is original cotton with the letters and no club crest. I wore it once while playing and sweated buckets......😇

I’m actually a bit disappointed, I’m getting tired of all this messing around with the stripes, this shirt was ALMOST as close to perfection as I’ve seen in yonks, had they produced the width stripe that the Youth shirt is getting (see image) I might have accepted being ripped off and made the purchase, something I haven’t done since my early 30’s.

That's what I meant too. The navy blue stripe in the new strip dominates. I like both stripes to be the same narrower stripe.
