If we sign that Rb that was on trial last sat, he is only 19 or 20, but ready for the first team.

Collins having a medical today apparently.

Weve done well when you think we only had 5 players 3 weeks ago

Weve got a competitive squad now, should be easily mid upper table with an experienced gk and another winger. Then its whther can they gel and push us into the top 6

At least weve got enough not to be fearing relegation now.

And it feels good having a club that is just going about neing a football club not getting pimped out for the celebrity factor

We have an experienced goalkeeper, or haven't you noticed? We do need a competent back up goalie and probably a right back, and a striker/forward.

I do feel positive and really looking forward to the new season. Much as i would love an instant return, i think mid table/top 10 would be great.

Loach himself has said he's the 3rd keeper. Does that mean Foulkes is #2 or can we expect another experienced keeper coming in?

Realistic and healthy attitude imo, Sith. I wouldn’t rule out an instant return, particularly if Clowes is joined by another ‘partner’, but a safe season of consolidation followed by a possible return in ‘24 should satisfy most.

I have been impressed by the signings though.

I'll go along with that Sith, a period of boring old stability sounds bloody great!
Instant success sounds very desirable but not at any price, you know the poisoned dwarf effect!! Let's get it right this time with no delusions of drandeur!

Anyway, there's the little thing of 4 days wall to wall golf to watch from God's own country! The Open at St Andrews, bliss!! Sod the footie!! 😎
