    Romello Mitchell

Apparently we have signed the 19 year old forward from Southampton. Anyone know much about him?

Just looked this up in the urban dictionary:

The name for a boy that is s exy. He is talented at everything and gets all the girls. Such as Olivia and Alexa. He is usually a leader and not a follower. And finally, he's a beast in bed.

He needs to watch out then when we play Blackpool!

Totally pointless, another one that will never get a game, probably out on loan to Lincoln or somewhere like that, be another Callum Morton, if he was any good why did Southampton get rid?

Apparently he is a product of Birmingham Academy who joined Southampton U18s for 20/21 season but obviously failed to impress enough there. Had a trial with us before we signed him and think they aim to use him in Richard Beale's PL2 side and then see if he impresses enough to get any first team football .It's only a one year deal (with further option after that) and guess it is not costing us much and is pretty low risk but, as you say, seems pretty pointless. Even if he turns out to do well in PL2 what are the chances of Bruce giving him his opportunity in the Championship given how he seemed to ignore Cleary despite his number of goals at a time when our first team didn't know where the net was?

I am sure if he's decent he will end up at the Vile academy! If he has one good leg, can run or pass then he will be better than Livermore, Phillips, Robinson and Furlong

Probably not that likely to succeed given he was released by Southampton but the deal is totally risk free. Academy scholarship wages are pennies.
