Yes the same one, the lad that Derby have let go. A bit disturbing that we had so many unavailable last night, besides Rio and Williams from last season, the two new midfielders, plus Mellor, and Long.

Derby player is Kornell McDonald - surprised that they let him go, but administration must have been a factor.

Yes it was K McDonald at Nantwich too. Administration will be the answer, when Rooney left they only had 6 senior players under contract, I guess anyone whose contract expired couldn't be resigned till takeover so contracts just ended.

He looks useful. But yes, the side put out Wednesday night was very low on defensive players. Interesting that they managed, nonetheless.
Anyway, Barnsley tomorrow (in front of an invited audience!!). Hopefully some defenders available.

So, 0-0 against Barnsley. No recognised LB. Triallist A again appeared at RB (are we sticking with him?). No Long. Offord and Mc Donald at the back. Still no Thomas or the other new midfielder - hope they can fit in soon.
Any further signs of departure for Finney Snr?

Sounds like the Alex are playing a closing down press this season. That would be good as long as we don't get pulled out of position.

A bit worrying that Colket and Thomas are still unfit. Clearly they shouldn't be rushed back into playing, but I can't help wondering if this may not be the only time they are missing through injury. Sooner we get at least one more midfielder, the better.

It is very noticeable that Finney Jnr has appeared far more than his elder brother in pre-season. Wonder who'll play at Halesowen tonight ...

O/S suggests senior might play tonight.
Shall we just call him Boris. He doesn't want to go either!😆
