No surprise that we aren't in the 4th round draw but due to yesterday's postponement, our team to watch FGR are and should they get past Brum in their rescheduled game they'll face our next league opponents, Blackburn.

Such is the excitement around Rotherham for the FA Cup this thread had disappeared into obscurity.

Anyway, to just update matters, ahead of appointing big Dunc as their manager FGR bowed out to Birmingham who became our team to follow and today recorded a 2-2 draw at home to Blackburn. So for once the curse is at least temporarily on hold and we'll await with baited breath who we'll be shouting for and against whom in the 5th round.

That Brighton winning goal was a thing of Beaty.

    What a goal.

So a trip to Leicester in the 5th round for our brave lads of Brum or Blackburn. Shame it's not us making the trip there to exorcise the ghosts of March 13th 1968 (55 years ago how time flies!)

Derby got 'Hammered' tonight so no plum tie at Man Utd in the next round for PW and his boys. A bit of déjà vu for him as he was in the team who lost to Northampton at Millmoor 19 years ago in the 3rd round replay and missed out on the same opportunity.

I guess like us they can now concentrate on the league?

Brum and Blackburn caught me out with an old fashioned Saturday draw, Tuesday replay routine and as is to be expected we now have to switch our allegiances yet again as the curse struck after 100 minutes with the Midlander's crashing out to an own goal. Blackburn will now face Premiership Leicester at the Kung Fu (sic) stadium in round 5 but you can't hold out much hope to a team that recently lost 4-0 to little Rotherham
