I find the mind of the "Tory activist" intriguing.
I get the thinking behind voting, on some levels, for a right wing party.
Laissez-faire capitalism, "small government"(sic), free market economics, deregulation......and loads of other euphemistic phrases to describe me-first, naked self interest.

I get it, though I fundamentally disagree with it and find it morally abhorrent.

But when you look at the toxicity and cognitive lack at the top of the Tory party, the utter paucity of anything vaguely positive in the personality and intellect of the leadership pool, you really wonder how the boots on the ground picking these melts actually think.
