You are bang on that the title should be the aim, - but lets remember Dunfermline, Falkirk and Kelty Hearts (and the rest) will all be thinking the same!
And so they should all be thinking the same thing, why not? They're hardly likely to be starting the season with any sort of defeatist attitude. It doesn't detract from the fact that QOS should be thinking about promotion. Something tells me Kelty won't quite be the same for in this league.
And, totally respect your opinion re Falkirk and the title but I'm not looking at them beating a less than fully tuned up, and to be honest going by last season poor, Hibs side
The loss was a bad one to take but there’s a few decent looking players in the Annan side.
excellent response against Ayr on Tuesday which was pleasing
Thought that Tommy Goss was outstanding in the first half and we couldn't cope with his physicality bossing our defenders. Once he was subbed early in the second half for some bizarre reason our defenders were more comfortable. Some loss to Queens was big Tommy who never go a chance under AJ.
Why's it only when the team gets beat, the usual diatribe gets spouted on here by the usual suspects?
A lot of positives for me today with a league 1 side outplaying a Premier League side for most of the game. Should have won in 90 minutes but really good result.
The performance on Saturday has given me something to look forward to filthiest season and this has probably given me the first piece of hope for the past 6 or 7 seasons. Bag papa you are stating the obvious but look at the performance against a side that is going to have a damn site more quality than what we will face in the league.some of our one touch passing was brilliant to watch and you’d have wondered who the spl side was for long spells. And if we take that kind of performance forward into the league I am sure we will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. And this with two of our forwards still to come into the equation. So yes it was a draw, but the performance has probably given the players a lot of confidence and a support a lot of hope for the season ahead
