Here's how we line up this evening, with plenty of changes to come in the second half

I like what LW is doing. Giving everyone a fair crack. Everyone seems to be getting game time. When you look at this side and the one put out at Leicester, you see that we do have plenty of depth to the squad IMO

Looks that way. I guess Bajrami will be in midfield tonight?

Squad looks stronger this season with more options upfront and at the back. Midfield could do with bolstering with more quality

What formation have we been playing with so far this preseason?

Have we deployed the high press at all?

The Leicester game we played a 3-1-5-1 with 3 attacking midfielders pushing up behind the striker. It worked really well as it allowed us to press high but not leave ourselves too open as we had the cover of a defensive midfielder. Roberts fits into this formation nicely too.

Tonight I'm not sure on the formation

3-1-5-1?? Surely that’s an original…never heard of it!

How does that work? Three CB’s, One holding midfielder, two wing backs, three attacking midfielders and a striker?!

    ………………….Slocombe

    ……Rawlo……….Baldwin……Cameron

    ……………………Bajrami

    Adebayo…Roberts…Rods….Austin……Taylor(?)

    ……………………Mitchell

Where do the two Gateshead fellahs fit into this? Am going to have to go and watch a match I think, can’t get it round my head how that’d look on a pitch. I’m assuming Nemane did the Right wing/wing back gig? Or is it like two conventional wingers now?

    2-0 to Notts now...

58 - Goal. Francis flicks Mitchell's goalbound effort over the line.

[There were three pre-planned changes at the break, with Bajrami, Vincent and Langstaff making way for Palmer, Francis and Mitchell.]

60 - Lots of changes for the final 30. Rodrigues is rested as a precaution, while Scott is still ill.
