Just noticed that he has left Chelsea to join Derby on a 2 year deal.
Left Crewe at the age of 16 for approx £300,000 (?).
Wonder if we have a sell-on clause ...
As Derby are restricted by an EFL-agreed Business Plan, any transfer fee would have been nominal.

Interesting - he was signed as a striker by Chelsea, but they were playing him left-side wingback/midfield I believe.

You're right..4 years at Chelsea, even at Academy level would put him on megabucks compared to what he would have earned at the Alex. As to his career, well who knows?
