    Quiz: David Kelly's legendary goal

    April 25th 1992. David Kelly's 86-minute goal saves us from relegation to the third tier

    Without googling - which eleven players started that game?

    I can reveal to you now that Keegan made only one substitution that day, replacing a player in the starting line-up with Mickey Quinn.

    Have fun!

    Nice one, Hughie.

    Well, for starters, was it Kevin Brock who played the ball up for Kelly to flick on to Quinny? And was John Anderson playing?

    @Zip: Correct! Kevin Brock was in the starting line-up in midfield and was indeed the only player to be subbed for Mickey Quinn. John Anderson, I'm afraid, was not playing. Might have been on the bench.

    @Sclox: You are correct in all instances, although the Irish fella's name is Liam O'Brien and not Ian Well done.

    @MidsMagpie: BINGO!

    So now we are missing a defender (Welshman) and David Kelly's forward partner that day.
