I am awe-struck by the immediate speech-to-text facility that is used in these hustings. Although it obviously has an American word database ("behaviour" is "behavior" etc) it is really impressive for its speed and degree of accuracy, particularly when you consider that every voice is unique, there are male / female voices and regional accents. There are some words that it cannot get right ("Sunak" is "soon Iraq") but that is a reasonable guess. It had no chance with the Welsh greeting by the candidates yesterday (whatever it was became "nice wife").
