    Welcome if true.

I have heard a rumour that the new regime is getting tough on players over contracts. It seems that Bird and Knight have been told that they either sign new deals now or they go this summer. No more letting contracts run down so DCFC gets either nowt or at best a few hundred grand for players who came through the Academy. Sell them now and get 7 figures .......

If true I welcome the new business-like stance Clowes is taking on player contracts.

Agreed, and I couldn't care less if Bird and Knight left either.

Agreed. Imagine this is agents at work again but IF they don’t want to commit then...sod ‘em.

    Clowes getting it right here

Sick to death of clubs taking advantage of us and that was down to the bald headed loser we had before

Rebuilding the club and taking no sh!t from agents is a great start

Back in 2013-14 we were the envy of most clubs outside the prem and even some clubs in it as well, then was all pi33ed up the wall by vultures who took us for a ride

If I ever hear Rooney, Lampard, Cocu type celebrity appointments and spending millions on the likes of Butterfield again ill vomit

Good for Clowes, doing all the right things at the mo

We obviously can’t be sure what’s going on...but amongst all this I would like to see Forsyth offered something.
Seems to always have the right attitude and is the closest we’ve had for a long time to a ‘loyal club servant’ imo.
