Just played another team from the division above tonight, Bamber Bridge, beat them 5-1, at this rate we might be giving Macclesfield a run for their money.

Clitheroe's pre-season form is awesome, just too good to be true, and you know what they say about things that appear too good to be true mon ami. Nevertheless, both my teams are looking exciting prospects for the season ahead, and I can't remember the last time I could say that.

Ashington beat Northallerton 3-1 last night in their second league match of the season and are top of the league having scored 9 and conceded 1. Robbie Dale scored his first goal for the club and I am sure that he will add to that, whatever position he plays!
FA Cup on Saturday at home to Newton Aycliffe so here's hoping for more goals!

Ashington, Clitheroe, Burnley, all winning for fun, this is indeed too good to be true Sub, something has to go wrong, the bandwagon cannot keep rolling at this rate, where will the wheels come off first ?

BET365 are claiming Burnley to win 3-0 is a "high risk" bet. A new day dawns at Turf Moor so I'm having it!
