    Sorry to hear that.

Remember him scoring a last minute winner v Plymouth in a 4-3 win against Plymouth just before my 14th birthday in November 1971 a couple of days before moving to Plymouth, where he stayed a couple of years before moving to Bournemouth and finally Darlington.
I understand he was only 72.

RIP Neil and sincere condolences to his family & friends.

Another one of my contemporaries and favourites bites the dust. Always admired his whole-hearted approach. RIP.

A sad loss, another local lad who came through the ranks, as they did in those days. Solid, reliable, versatile was sorry he left so early in his career. RIP Neil, sincere condolences to family and friends.

Yep, lived a few doors away from me in Rowena Drive and taught me keepy uppys

Nice lad, honest and tough. Not a fancy footballer but he gave his all.

    Sad to hear this news

Yes, a good honest lad, but fell foul of the powers that be from time to time
