I've seen one or two moans saying the predictions weren't very good this week?? There was a grand total of 22 points up for grabs with five draws in that lot! Four of us hit double figures and if you also include the two who played their second Joker, then six of us hit double figures.
    Let's check it all out.......

No Shows: A full house, well done everyone.

Weekly winner(s): I said last week I said I was sacking my predictor, instead I had a word with him and told him to start selecting better and he has. I thought I'd bagged the normal weekly win with 11 points and was rubbing my hands with glee. Then along comes Nez and knocks me out of the way with 12 points...grrrr ha ha. Hang on a mo though, one of our overseas player, thinks steady on Nez this is mine and it was. CT Milller bangs in a score of 14 to snatch the bonus 5 points from under Nez' nose to hit 19 in total for the day, great score Sir well done indeed.

Joker(s) played: Two took the plunge and ADVENTUS2012 doubles his 6 to 12 and pip_y proper spanked it well by doubling a strong 11 points to a great 22! Are we likely to see anymore played next weekend?

Predict a Score: No winners. Plenty predicted a scoring draw but didn't pick a 1-1 so no winners overall this time around.

Wooden Spoon(s): Last week we saw our first zero of the year and it looks like he's cast a spell as two more hit rock bottom with their score of zero. BramleyMiller58 and MillersTime pick up a spoon each.

Some big scores this weekend and this has moved several players well up the table. CT Milller hits 3rd spot through his weekly win score whilst pip_y moves up 7 places and joins CT Milller to = 3rd spot with his belting 22 point score. HK Miller retains the top slot but more join in the chase.

Much like last season, I can see this one going down to the wire. Will it live up to last season's final day clincher? We can only wait and see.
Maybe the use of a strong Joker being played by someone up around the top could create a good breakaway?

Last game of the day has been completed so here we go. A very low scoring weekend where only two managed normal double figures, in fact, one who played his Joker didn't even beat their score doubling up! Let's see how it all panned out.

    No Shows: Full card

Weekly winner(s): Like I said, only two hitting 10 normal points and they are ELK and Millerstale. Slap on the 5 bonus points and it's 15 all round. well done chaps.

Joker(s) played: One took the plunge but it didn't pay off well for him. Avondale doubled his 3 up to 6 but at least it saved him from picking up a spoon! Ironically, his score actually moves him back up to = third overall.

Predict a Score: No winners again! A couple picked a drawing score but no one picked it to finish 0-0.

Wooden Spoon(s): MillersTime seems to have taken a shine to a spoon, or two in this case, as he picks up a consecutive one, along with pip_y, for their score of 3 points. Unlucky fellas as five others almost joined you.

No big scores so no big moves. HK Miller retains the top spot for now but Adventus2012 narrows it down to just one point
MillersTale moves up six places and Elk moves up five with their weekly wins.

Apologies for the late post but only got back of my jollies early hours this morning. Here we go then finally with last weekend's results.

No Shows: Cayton? Hope he's not thrown the towel in.

Weekly winner(s): Although five of you hit double figures there was one who topped the lot. Step forward AvondaleMiller with a great score of 13 so add the extra 5 for 18 points in total. Well done indeed!

Joker(s) played: One more had a go but alas not to score very well. ThaiMillerfan lobbed in his Joker but only scored 2 points to double up to 4 but, it saved him from getting a spoon this time around. There seems to be a trend with that this time around??

Predict a Score: It's a treble rollover as there were no winners again!

Wooden Spoon(s): A close call for some but it's CT Milller who picks up yet another spoon in a matter of weeks. Something going off there fella?

Big score from Avondale sees him leapfrog back to the top albeit just by a point. I think he's just playing with the rest of us and just turns it on to bring us all back into line before anyone seriously breaks away

Have to give a big shout out to AckworthMiller as he posted late and missed out on two games but still registered 11 points that saw him move up to 4th place, well done fella. Nardendee made a big play on my position but I just managed to hold him off for now....

Pity I wasted the Joker the week before eh? At least Mick (thai) did his best to make me feel ok.
