    Soft centre's

Trying not to be too hard as it was the first league game but I noticed some things that need addressed asap. Ideally , I like at least one aggressive centre back, a hardy boy who will put in tackles in the middle of the park and a physical prescence up front that can hold the ball up and get others playing off him. I saw NONE of that in any of those area's yesterday. We let Clyde sit right on top of us winning the ' battle' and because of that Queens couldn't get any rhythm in their play . We have to compete aggressively , at least matching the efforts of our opponents and only then will our better players get a chance to show their ability. This season is going to be a slog but we have to be ' up for it ' from now on.

Totally agree JR as it also happened against Annan when we were bullied all across the pitch which points to a softness in the team. Wilson returning will help but we need a bulldog of a player in the centre of the park able to win the ball and set up attacks.

I should have added that if we had a stronger spine then teams wouldn't be able to waltz through the middle of us like yesterday.

Just watched the goals back again this morning and the marking is worse than I had remembered from Saturday. Too many basic errors.
Hopefully we can bounce back like we did after the Annan game.

Loads of work to be down in training this week and we can see them train tomorrow ( Tuesday) at Palmerston from 10.30am.
