    The Wisbech Drama.

The new Wisbech manager said that he wont be announcing new sighings till July. On July 3rd, there was one player at the club, a goalkeeper, and he was rubbish. Sighings is the right word.

He was fired or resigned, sabotage or he didnt care, who knows. A new manager came in Mettam from Frickley and he said most if not all players available had been signed up with other clubs, had just two training sessions, and had reserves in, plus a few mates from oop north.

Went on saturday, afc Mansfield at home, out of curiosity mainly. That wasnt Wisbech out there, this team fought like lions. The manager came on, hes about 40, roughed up Mansfield defenders, and started a melee.

That died down and then started again, two Mansfield players were flat out.

And in all good fairy tales, the manager popped up to score the winner. Attendance 216. Fantastic, Wibech are reborn.

The club president posed with the manager after the match for a photo.
