    Rico Quitongo

Again, I have only seen two games because of holidays and dont want to be too hard on individuals. The lad Quitongo doesn't look the strongest defensively BUT he looks comfortable with the ball at feet in an attacking sense. Would it be an idea to move him into left midfield and give him a bit more license to attack and less defensive responsibility ?

The Airdrie fans to be fair did say on social media after we signed him that he was a poor defender but far better when going forward in an attacking sense so maybe worth a try.

Rico has plenty pace but gets caught ball watching too much for my liking. I’d happily play him forward a bit away from the defence.

East's class and composure was apparent when he replaced Rico last Saturday but would be better in a more central position in my opinion. Rico still has plenty of learning to do so we need to support him more rather specifically picking him out as there were plenty of failures last week.

I didn't think Rico was as bad as our right back who was getting skinned alive every attack and cost us 3 of the goals.

Any time Rico got possession, the defence didn't seem to want to build from the back , he was reluctant to charge up the wing and there was no one near to pass to so he ended up just lumping the ball.

Spike , I didn't mean to specifically pick on Quitongo ..Was only suggesting on a way we may get more out of him based on what I have seen so far.

Fully understand JR and equally I am saying that there were many failures last weekend including Rico.
