All sports history will be re written from BLS (before last Sunday) and ALS (after last Sunday)......best women's football team in Europe, fantastic, great, well done but it's a bit 🙄 when compared to sports women are actually very good or become champions of a sport that there is no or very little physical element.

A women's world darts champion or snooker or bowls or something similar would imho be a bigger achievement.

In fact a wifey winning countdown would probably get more of my attention.

You can see where it's all going though more and more and more money being given to women's football from the pot......and demands for massive salary hikes for players won't be far away.

Already heard someone on the local news down here asking for equal pay for women in football.

Somebody shut her up by saying the typical wifey's match gets around 1,000 people attending and saying when they fill stadiums with 40 - 50,000 week in week out maybe they'll get close to the men. They couldn't even claim misogyny because it was a wummin that said it.

I do not understand why the media is making such a ‘song and dance’ about the Women’s Open Golf Championship being held at Muirfield.
The members of most private members golf clubs do not want major golf competitions held on their golf course as the members are cannot play on their golf for a week due to practice days and the four days of the championship.

Although the club receives a fee from the R & A for the competition being played on their golf course it barely covers the cost of extra overtime for the greenkeeping staff plus the loss of income from visiting golfers.
In my opinion the R & A should purchase sufficient land to construct their own golf course where the Open Championship and other R & A run national competitions can be played every year.
A bit like the US Masters which is played at Augusta every year.

Does Augusta not have members like any other course? PS Congatulations on your win in the Dee Promotions Lottery. What are you going to do with the 'vast' sum coming your way.😀

Nope the beauty of the open is it’s accessible for all spectators throughout Britain, Feck it being in England every year ,
